I just finished reading "Coming in Costume" by Lisabet Sarai and I think it is one of the best BDSM stories I've read in a long time. The story revolves around Isabella whose Dom husband shares her with his best friend James in an erotic filled romp starting at a Halloween Party.
The story is written from the sub's point of view and is delicious in its treatment of pain. From the very beginning, Isabella has her nipples and clit tightly clamped, which keeps her right on the edge of a climax, simmering without relief. Because as we all know our slaves are not allowed to come without permission.
I love the way Sarai describes the punishment and pain that the sub goes through to please her Master. I could picture the scene as her tight nipple clamps were unscrewed to release her nips.
"A mini-climax shuddered through my pussy. Then the clamp released its hold on my flesh. I screamed in agony as the blood rushed back into the battered nub."
Her two Masters, subject their sub to repeated abuses such as double-penetration, anal sex, and other delicious tortures, which Isabella secretly loves as we know they all do.
This is a well written story and well worth picking up for your or other eReader.
Surprised by how much I liked this considering I don't usually enjoy m/m/f combos. The relationship between the 3 MC's is very steamy and I didn't feel like there was too heavy an emphasis on any one side of the triangle. This is a super short read so you could definitely read it easily one night in front of the fire or on a break. However, I wouldn't recommend reading this at work because it's very hot and sexy and I can almost guarantee you'd rather be by yourself so as to be able to fully appreciate the kink of this story. There's some great cos-play and role-playing, as well as some light BDSM (mostly of the spanking variety).
I have read and reviewed a number of books by Lisabet Sarai. Although she has written in many genres she is probably best known for her work in BDSM.
This book should come with a warning. If you are new to BDSM and unfamiliar with the psycho/socio dynamics of the life style, the implements and the tightrope of pleasure/pain, this book may not be right for you.
On the other hand if you are a consumer of this genre you are in for a treat. Lisabet has a highly refined ability to articulate the visceral and emotional experiences of her characters. You'll have a voyeurs seat to the sights and sounds to every twinge, tweak, urge, moment of ecstasy and fantasy of the main character Isabella. Lisabet seamlessly weaves dialogue and action that keeps the reader in the moment and in the story. At roughly 20,000 words it is short, but perfect for an afternoon fantasy if you dom or sub is away.
