The cat at the center of this book is named Precious and the book is a precious little gem of a mystery. This was a quick, fun read. The vet is quite a character with her humorous internal dialogue and the sarcasm she tends to use when she tries to keep one of her clients in line. The other characters are well-developed and have their individual interesting traits as well. The author keeps you wondering whodunit, with several suspects in the mix, and the vet is the one who has to solve the mystery or possibly forfeit her job. Though it may have been the cat's last meow, I hope it's not the author's last book. I look forward to reading more of her stories in the future.Product details

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was well written. Holds you interest so you want to keep reading. Plus it's not so long that you feel guilty continuing to read.

I enjoyed the book very much. It is well written and interesting. I like mystery books and this book held my interest all the way through.

Well, most of the books I purchased were given as gifts. Feedback was good and all enjoyed reading.
If you want a light weight bit of reading that is just plain fun, The Cat's Last Meow will do just fine. Some good character develoment and a good plot. Of course it has an "all's well that ends well" finish, but that fits the book.
I thought that this was a cute book. It will probably be enjoyed by the younger set, as teens plus. I am a senior citizen and it seemed a little juvinile for me. I did enjoy it though, and would read other books by this author. She puts her story together well. The characters were well defined and rather strange, as was intended, I am sure.
Really enjoyed this quick-read murder mystery written with great sense of humor and involving a vet stuck solving the alleged murder of a cat which leads to much more mayhem and intrigue.
